Today the E-Board of the Los Angeles African American Women Political Action Committee (LAAAWPAC) voted unanimously to endorse Myla Rahman for Carson City Clerk in the upcoming Nov. 2 election.
“Myla is more than qualified to serve the residents of Carson as their city clerk,” said LAAAWPAC vice-president Jasmyne Cannick. “ Myla is a passionate advocate for our local communities and we know she will be a strong champion for Carson.”
“As a 2012 graduate of LAAAWPAC’s Public Policy Institute and a long-time public servant, I am honored to have the endorsement of LAAWPAC,” said Rahman. “This endorsement means a great deal to me because of the power of the LAAAWPAC women who actively move the needle in California politics in a thoughtful and meaningful way.”
Election Day is Tue. Nov. 2.
